This subject is designed to increase student awareness of recent developments in the application of philosophical needs fundamental to nursing practice. It examines the essence of human caring as central to professional dimensions of caring in a technological environment. Further, this subject combines academic studies of problem-solving theory with methods of practice. It examines ways of knowing, models of inquiry, factors pertaining to judgement and decision making.
