Third-year prizes

Faculty Prize

A prize of $200 is awarded by the faculty to the top two students in third year.

Australian Medical Association Medical Officers of Health Prize

A prize of $150 awarded for the best medical student in third year.

AMMG Prize for Clinical and Communication Skills

A prize of $250 is awarded by the Association of Monash Medical Graduates to the student obtaining the highest aggregate marks in MED2061/2 and MED3051/2 (Clinical and communication skills I and II) in second and third year.

Paul Boyce Prize

This prize, valued at around $200 is awarded to the third-year student, selected by his or her peers, who has contributed most to the first three years of the Monash medical course and who has some of the qualities which won Paul Boyce the respect and admiration in which he was held. The prize may be a book token or a stethoscope.

ICI Pharmacology Prize

This prize is awarded to the student who achieves the highest mark in the third-year subject MED3042 (Basic and clinical pharmacology and toxicology II).

Solly Faine Prize

This prize is awarded to the student who achieves the highest mark in the infectious diseases component of MED3062. The prize will consist of an engraved medallion and a cheque for $100.
