Outline of graduate studies
Besides offering the undergraduate degree courses of Bachelor of
Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) and Bachelor of Medical Science
(BMedSc), the faculty also offers a number of postgraduate degrees.
Approximately 600 students are currently enrolled in coursework and/or
research-based postgraduate degrees in the Faculty of Medicine. An additional
240 students are enrolled in courses offered by distance education (Family
Medicine and Rural Health). The following is a brief guide to the postgraduate
courses offered within the Faculty of Medicine.
