Psychological medicine
Students attend the Department of Psychological Medicine, Monash Medical Centre (Clayton) and the Department of Psychiatry, Alfred Hospital, for six-week attachments. The aim of the attachment is to provide the student with further supervised clinical experience, particularly in liaison psychiatry, and the opportunity to improve technical skills in interviewing. Each student submits a written report for evaluation by the group instructor. Both departmental and visiting staff members contribute to the final-year student seminars.
Assessment
Assessment contributes 10% of the final-year mark as outlined above
