Liaison psychiatry, medicine and neurology (semester 2)

The aim of this subject is to provide candidates with the opportunity to update their existing knowledge base in the areas of medicine and neurology and re-integrate aspects of psychiatry specifically related to particular physical disorders. Theoretical underpinning of liaison psychiatry are considered in conjunction with factual information about disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, AIDS, renal failure, diabetes, cancer, endocrine disorders and substance abuse.
