The subject will cover the law of company liquidations. It will consider the objectives of, and principles governing, corporate insolvency law; the various insolvency regimes; insolvent trading provisions; property available for distribution in a winding up; claims which can be made in a winding up; avoidance provisions; alternatives to winding up; and the position of secured creditors.
