Constitutional change 515

This subject is designed to involve students in the constitutional debate spanning the decade till the centenary of the Australian constitution. Students are required to examine critically selected fundamental aspects of the Australian constitutional systems, discuss their deficiencies and explore the various possible changes which can be effected. The subject will build on the students' understanding of Australian constitutional law and focus their attention on those aspects of the Australian constitutional systems which should be reformed.

Assessment

Written research assignment (5000 words): 60% * Terminal examination (2 hours): 40%
