Wills, probate and administration 515

This subject involves a study of the principles and rules governing the devolution of property on death and the administration of estates of deceased persons. Topics include the law relating to intestacy; the execution, revocation, alteration and republications of wills; the classification of testamentary gifts and the various doctrines affecting such gifts; appointment of personal representatives; grants of administration; the powers and duties of personal representatives and the distribution of net assets to beneficiaries.

Assessment

Terminal examination (open-book 3.5 hours): 100%
