This subject requires individual research under supervision. The research subject will need individual approval and no research subject will be approved unless a suitably qualified member of staff is available with adequate time to supervise the research. Authority rests with the dean to approve enrolment for a research subject, to approve as a research subject a topic chosen by the candidate, to appoint a supervisor and to specify, in consultation with that supervisor, the value units to be attributed to the research subject.
