Partial differential equations: solution by Laplace transforms and by separation of variables; application to heat and wave equations. Multiple integration: double integrals and triple integrals in Cartesian and polar coordinates. Vector calculus: gradient, divergence and curl and their applications; line and surface integrals; integral theorems. Computational mathematics; errors, zeros of non-linear functions; numerical solution of simultaneous equations; polynomial approximation, numerical integration, solution of differential equations.
