R Adlem (Caulfield) and P Wright (Peninsula)
3 points * 13 lecture hours, 13 tutorial hours * First semester * Caulfield/Peninsula
Pre-calculus: graph sketching using intercepts, symmetry and asymptotes. Limiting values. Differentiation: derivative of polynomials, trigonometric functions, exponential and natural log functions. Product, quotient and chain rules. Applications. Integration: integral of polynomials, trigonometric functions, exponential functions and functions giving natural log expressions. Definite integrals. Applications. Differential equations: solution of first-order differential equations by direct integration, separation of variables and the integrating factor method. Applications.
