This study tour will be organised to visit advanced manufacturing technology establishments with a view to gaining first-hand knowledge and working experience in AMT. Following the visit to leading overseas manufacturing companies, students would be required to prepare a comprehensive report. Participation in this study tour is optional and would have the impact of reducing by half the manufacturing engineering thesis or project work, with which it would be integrated.
