An introduction to the techniques and applications of computational fluid mechanics. Development of the equations governing fluid flow; characterisation of partial differential equations; finite difference solution of the governing equations; grid generation; time-stepping; matrix solution methods; full implementation of techniques developed to solve a time-dependent flow problem.
