Overview of heat transfer modes; multi-dimensional steady-state conduction; circuit analogies for steady conduction; governing equations in convective heat transfer, non-dimensional groups and the analogy between momentum and heat transfer; similarity solutions for convection through a laminar boundary layer; analysis of external and internal forced convection using similarity methods and integral methods; fundamental of radiative heat transfer; analysis of heat exchanger performance.
