Fluid mechanics

Fluid properties, fluid statics, kinematics, Euler and Bernoulli equations, flow measurement, control volumes, continuity, momentum and energy equations, dimensional analysis, modelling, boundary layer, lift and drag, Moody chart, pipe flow, single and branched pipe systems.

Assessment

Examinations (2 hours): 80% * Laboratory: 12% * Tutorial: 8%
