(1) Introduction to the techniques applicable to the analysis of feedback data obtained in the maintenance planning system; statistical techniques applied to maintenance activities; the need for data analysis; methods of presenting analysed data; Weibull analysis. (2) Mathematical modelling of maintenance data; Monte Carlo simulation; queuing theory; determining optimum frequencies for fixed-time maintenance activities/shutdowns. (3) Reliability and application of reliability data. Reliability audits of engineering plant.
