Site investigation and subsoil exploration geophysical exploration methods, different in-situ tests, stability analysis of earth slopes, introduction to rock mechanics, properties of rock materials and rock masses, geomechanical properties of rock, rock slope design, rock foundation, slope stabilisation, underground excavation design, monitoring earth and rock related structures, ground improvement techniques.

Assessment

Examinations: 60% * Assignments, class tests, laboratory work, projects and seminar: 40%
