Introduction to semiconductor devices and their characteristics, applications of diodes such as clipping, clamping, rectifiers and filters - series inductors and shunt capacitors and L section. Transistor modelling and amplifier analysis and design, operational amplifiers, amplifier configurations, inverting and non-inverting adders, subtractors, non-linear applications, frequency response and time response of circuits and their interpretation, feedback and stability - closed and open loop gain, bandwidth improvements.
