Electrical materials: electronic conduction, energy band model, intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors. Capacitance and sheet resistance. Magnetic materials: magnetic domains, hysteresis, hard and soft magnetic materials, magnetic anisotropy, single domain structures, magnetic double storage, magnetic ferrites, Hall effect, galvo-thermo-magnetic effects. Ferroelectric materials: electronic crystals and surface acoustic wave devices; optical materials; super conductivity.
