Computer control 2

6 points * 26 lecture hours, 26 tutorial/laboratory hours * Second semester * Caulfield * Prerequisites: ELE5233

Sequence control and advanced control techniques: programmable controller, batch control, dead-time compensation, feedforward, cascade, multivariable and adaptive control. Supervisory control: plant modelling and performance optimisation, energy management and auditing, knowledge-based systems. Robotics: motor behaviour and control of position and velocity, robotic devices and control, robotic sensors.

Assessment

Examinations (3 hours): 60% * Laboratory work: 40%
