Fourier analysis and spectra: analogue modulation; various forms of amplitude and angle modulation and demodulation. Digital modulation and demodulation. Noise: origin and types of noise in electronic systems. Performance of various modulation/demodulation schemes in noisy environments.

Assessment

Examinations (3 hours): 60% * Laboratory work/Assignments: 40%
