Control systems: closed loop systems and feedback control, Laplace transforms, transfer functions, block diagrams, signal flow graphs and their reduction. System modelling and state equation descriptions. System analysis: stability, transient response and its specifications, steady state errors, sensitivity, Routh-Hurwitz criterion, root-locus and frequency response methods.

Examinations (3 hours): 60% * Practical/laboratory work: 40%
