Biomedical design

A substantial biomedical engineering investigation is to be undertaken in a clinical department or commercial organisation. This industry-based project should deal with a wide range of issues including conceptual design, manufacture, evaluation, operability, maintainability, reliability, problem investigation, support, disposal and lifecycle costs. Each student will produce a report documenting the general design principles that he or she has found important.
