Advanced semiconductor junctions: pnpn junctions, metal-semiconductor junction, super-conductor junction, MOS structures, heterojunction, quantum well structures. Electron devices: triacs, GTO devices, schottky diode, SQUID. Photon devices: Fabry-Perot injection laser diodes, distributed feedback lase diodes, optical fibre amplifiers, quantum well lasers.
