Basic reliability engineering

Basic probability theory and applications in engineering, reliability models and evaluation of simple and complex systems, probability distributions in reliability evaluation, system reliability evaluation using probability distributions, discrete and continuous Markov chains, frequency and duration techniques, approximate system reliability evaluation, system with non-exponential distributions.

Assessment

Examinations (2 hours): 70% * Practical work: 15% * Assignment: 15%
