Energy sources and electrical generation, structure of power networks, economic operation of power systems, elements of power networks, loadflow analysis, frequency control in isolated and interconnected systems, voltage control, fault analysis of power systems, transient and dynamic stability analysis, structure of distribution systems, harmonics and quality of electrical supply.
