Computer image processing and pattern recognition

The aim of this subject is to expose students to a wide range of topics in the related fields of computer image processing and pattern recognition and to encourage deeper exploration of selected items through wider reading. The subject will be assessed through a combination of exam and asssignment evaluation. Copies of research papers in the field will be made available as background material for the course.
