Circuit theory II

Laplace transforms: applications to LTIV networks and systems, network functions in the s-domain and in terms of phasors, poles and zeros of network functions, natural frequencies networks, frequency characteristics. Network theorems: substitution theorem, superposition theorem, Thevenin-Norton equivalent network theorems and reciprocity theorem; necessary and sufficient conditions under which theorems are applicable. Two-port description of networks: Y, Z, h and transmission parameters, interconnection of two-ports, equivalent two-ports, ladder and lattice network conversion. Scattering matrices: wave concepts, scattering parameters, conditions for losslessness and passivity, multiple reflections at network interfaces.
