Management project 1

In a nominal two hours per week to commence a project related to local government management. The topic should be useful and relevant and should consolidate or increase knowledge in some aspect of local government management. It may be predominantly library based or it may be a specific investigation. Students are encouraged to discuss possible topics with their employer, with a view to selecting one of practical application. The selected topic will require the approval of the head of division. A report of at least 3000 words is to be submitted for assessment at the end of the semester. More specific guidelines on suitable topics and on the scope and extent of the project, will be provided to prospective students.
