Civil engineering computing applications

The subject allows students to acquire skills on one or two application areas such as programming languages (Pascal, C++, Visual Basic), spreadsheets, hypertext, databases, mathematics packages, graphics, expert systems, computer-aided drafting, etc. Specific content will be recommended for each student. The subject is project based, with a single project requiring about 100 hours for completion.

Assessment

Assessment will be 100% project based. The score will take into account the final product (40% ), an estimate of understanding based on oral interview (40%) and documentation (20%)
