Polymer process engineering

Rheological properties and flow behaviour of non-Newtonian fluids. Design procedures for pipe and non-circular channel flow. Rheology of polymers; viscoelastic behaviour of solutions and melts; anomalous phenomena - die swell, melt fracture; practical and fundamental aspects of various polymer processes including coating, extrusion, calendering and moulding of thermoplastics.
