This subject will explore the human requirements of non-face-to-face instructional environments. Focusing on aural and visual communication, the subject will examine delivery approaches for platforms such as audiographics, videoconferencing, interactive television and computer conferencing. The subject will draw on current practices in education and training and will be of particular interest to those involved in alternative curriculum delivery approaches. This subject is also available to eligible BEdSt students. A list of references will be provided at the commencement of the class.
