Studies of learning and teaching

The purpose of this subject is to provide an organised and theory-based introduction to education to those with an interest in learning and teaching whether in formal or informal contexts. It is designed for both practising teachers and people not currently teaching who wish to expand their career options in this direction (eg nurses). Topics covered include learning, curriculum, teaching and assessment, and are covered in an interrelated way.
