This subject provides an introduction to the behavioural approach to positive teaching and learning. Its purpose is to help both professionals working with children and the children themselves to achieve greater control over their own behaviour. The topics covered will include analysing behaviour, implementing change strategies, learning new skills, and facilitating classroom motivation and teaching effectiveness. The subject has a practical emphasis. Students will be required to take part in practical exercises and complete practical assignments.
