This subject is designed for teachers interested in counselling and pastoral care. Initially, basic counselling skills are considered, along with other important prerequisites for counselling children in school settings. Different theoretical approaches to counselling children are outlined with the assistance of videos and case material. Ethical principles and issues are also emphasised.
