Methods and practice of teaching biology

2 hours per week * Full-year subject * Clayton * Prerequisites: Minor (2 years) in one of the biological sciences

Students with majors only in biochemistry or pharmacology are advised to discuss their choice of methods with the lecturer-in-charge before enrolling. In addition to VCE biology, this method prepares students for other secondary biological science subjects. All students will be expected to participate in a camp to be held in March. VCAB booklets will be purchased through the faculty. References and short courses to broaden students' biological knowledge will be provided during the course.
