Methods and practice of teaching computer studies

2 hours per week * Full-year subject * Clayton * Prerequisites: Two years of computer science or equivalent at tertiary level

School courses concerned with computers presently range from computer awareness courses at junior and middle secondary levels to VCE Information Technology. This subject is intended to prepare students for teaching computer studies courses at all levels in secondary schools. It will examine content, teaching methods and resources for these courses.
