This subject will offer an examination of the theory and educational implications for classroom practice and curriculum of issues in the area of equity in education. The approach taken will include an examination of gender roles and sexuality as areas where differential access, discrimination and bias in practice frequently have significant educational impact.
Assessment
Two assignments including one theory-based essay of 1500 words and one report relating to curriculum and classroom teaching practice
