Psychology and evaluation of the atypical

BC GD PD BP

Subject value 1.0 * 4 hours per weekend school and 4 hours per vacation school * Second semester * Gippsland/Distance * Prerequisites: DipT or GradDipEd or BTeach

This subject considers characteristics of children who in past years have tended to be segregated into special schools. Attention will be paid to psychological variables associated with disability, educational needs, and how help can be offered in regular schools. The subject is taught by readings, lectures and discussion.

Assessment

Essay: 25% * Resource file: 25% * Examination on prepared topics: 50%
