First semester * Peninsula * Prerequisites: EDN3355, EDN3105
The aim of the subject is to provide students with the opportunity of engaging in a community placement experience (CPE) and thereby broadening the base of interpersonal experiences for students. Examples of appropriate placements include working on a community services team in a local shire or city council; assisting in a community education program with an art gallery or museum; or helping in organised programs at a sports, fitness or recreation complex.
