Strand `A' on-campus: This strand will consist of briefing/debriefing and tutorial sessions designed to prepare and support students on field experience placements. Strand `B' off- campus: Placements may include the following services - long day care, special needs centres, residential centres, foster-care homes, paediatric wards, preschools and school-age child care. Students will complete two block placements, at least one of which must be in a group care setting, eg long day care, in different types of children's services. Students will also carry out an extensive half-day field experience program in services other than those encountered in block placements.

Practicum: 70% * Written: 30%
