Children's services management

Theoretical perspectives of human service organisations will be examined. Students will examine a range of topics which are important to children's services management. These include organisational models, policy development, goalsetting, budgeting, staff recruitment, industrial relations, regulations, environmental issues, the marketing of services and conflict resolution and staff/service evaluation.

Written (5000 words): 70% * Class test: 30%
