This subject has two main aims. The first is to make students aware of the manner and extent to which music is interrelated with other subjects. The emphasis will be on relationships between music and humanities subjects, and music and the other arts. Mention will also be made of music's links with the sciences. Second, students will be familiarised with methods of classroom application for integrating music with other subjects. This will occur through workshops and surveying the relevant literature.
