Exceptionality in schools

3 hours per week * Second semester * Peninsula

The intent of this subject is to provide students with a comprehensive awareness of the range, abilities and disabilities of exceptional children in schools. This will emerge out of studies undertaken in the field, in lecture/discussion sessions and in schools. The family, peers and support personnel/services of such children will be studied along with their special needs.

Assessment

Examinations: 70% * Case study: 30%
