An extension of musical notation and terminology which will enable students to consolidate their practical performance on a variety of musical instruments, in particular the glockenspiel. A study and comparison of current approaches to music education: Dalcroze, Kodaly, Orff, Schafer, Self and Up Beat, culminating in the planning of a thematic unit suitable for use in the primary school.
