Early childhood environmental science, technology and social science
3 hours per week * Second semester * Peninsula
This subject will consist of two strands - early childhood environmental science and technology, and social science. In both strands emphasis will be placed on the rationale behind selection of material to be included in the program and planning and implementing developmentally appropriate science/social science programs. The role of the teacher as the facilitator of science/social science learning within early childhood settings and primary classes will be emphasised.
