Music education (early childhood)

An extension of musical notation and terminology which will enable students to consolidate their practical performance on the glockenspiel. The approaches to music education of Dalcroze, Kodaly, Orff, Self and Up Beat will be studied and compared. The development of a balanced music program suitable for use in the preschool will be explored culminating in the planning of a thematic unit.
