3 hours per week * Second semester * Peninsula

An introduction to music in the primary school; why teach music and what constitutes a balanced music program. A study of rudimentary musical notation and musical terminology which will enable students to perform on a variety of musical instruments - tuned and nontuned percussion and the recorder.

Assessment

Written: 40% * Examinations: 40% * Practical work/practical performance: 20%
