Expressive arts

3 hours per week * First semester * Peninsula

This subject is designed to enable students to understand the importance of an integrated expressive arts program to children's total development in an early childhood setting. Music, movement, dance, art and drama will be presented at an introductory level. The emphasis will be on the provision of a balanced, integrated program which looks at the adult teaching role and the children as active initiators and participants.

Assessment

Written: 70% * Practical work/practical component: 30%
