Artificial intelligence

This subject provides students with an appreciation of the scope and application of the techniques of artificial intelligence. The unit covers problem-solving, search, vision, neural networks and fuzzy systems. A particular emphasis is placed on the development and use of knowledge-based systems, knowledge acquisition, and knowledge representation.
